Traffic assistant
Ask about the roads
Ask about US highways and get an answer from the live data we aggregate. It only says what the sources say, names where each fact comes from, and tells you when a state is not covered. It is not navigation: it tells you what is on the road, not how to get there.

Answers are generated from the public sources we aggregate and may contain errors or delays. Not navigation or advice. In an emergency, call 911.
How it works
Ask the way you talk
“Any crashes on I-5 in California?”, “Is anything closed on I-95?”, “Do I need chains on Donner Pass?”
We check the live sources
The question goes to the same state DOT, highway patrol and National Weather Service data that feed the live map.
An answer with source and time
It answers only from that data, says which state feeds it has, and says “I don't know” when there is nothing to go on.
The sources
The assistant answers from these public sources, the same ones behind the live map, aggregated by Roadscore. Coverage grows state by state: where a state publishes no crash feed, the assistant says so.
Answers are generated from public data and may contain errors or delays. Not navigation or advice. Most states answer road conditions on 511. In an emergency, call 911.
