Rates: New York State Thruway Authority, toll schedules, class 2L (two axles, under 7'6"), checked against the Authority's toll calculator. Exit names as the Thruway lists them.
How Thruway tolls work
The Thruway is cashless. Overhead gantries between the exits read an E-ZPass or photograph the plate, and a trip's toll is the sum of the stretches it drives. A New York E-ZPass pays the lowest rate; an E-ZPass from another state pays the same as Tolls by Mail. The Thruway's schedules already list the rates for January 1, 2027.
Not in this calculator: the tolls south of Harriman (the Yonkers, New Rochelle and Spring Valley gantries) and the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, tolled on its own (a car with NY E-ZPass pays $7.25 in 2026), and the Niagara and New England Thruways.
